Estadio Mateo Flores is a national stadium in Guatemala City, it was built in 1948, and was renamed after Mateo Flores, who won the 1952 Boston Marathon. It is the home of Guatemala City football club Municipal (Los Rojos), capacity 30,000.

Subiaco Oval is the major sports stadium in Perth, Western Australia. It is located in the suburb of Subiaco, a few kilometres west of Perth’s city centre. It is mainly used for Australian Football League matches, as it is the home ground for the West Coast Eagles and Fremantle Dockers football teams. “Subi” is also used for West Australian Football League matches. The ground is not exclusively used for Australian Rules Football though, having hosted National Soccer League (Australia) grand finals, regular Rugby Union Test Matches (including games in the 2003 Rugby Union World Cup), International Rules and sometimes, rock concerts. It became the home ground for Perth’s Super 14 rugby union team, the Western Force, in 2006.

Toyota Stadium is a 45,000 seat retractable roof stadium in Toyota City, Japan, built in 2001. It is home of the J. League football team Nagoya Grampus Eight.
Its roof is unique in that it folds much like an accordion. The Toyota Motor Company is the title sponsor of the stadium.

Maksimir is a stadium in the Croatian capital of Zagreb. It takes its name from the neighbourhood of Maksimir. It is primarily the home of Dinamo Zagreb, one of the top football teams in the country.
The stadium was first opened May 5, 1912. Over its history it has gone through many facelifts, but starting in 1997 it received a major rebuilding that lifted its seating capacity to approximately 40,000. Many of the Croatian national football team’s games are played at Maksimir, which competes with Poljud stadium for the biggest matches.
There have been plans to further expand the stadium to seat approximately 60,000 spectators, as well as to build a roof, but as of 2004 they have been put on hold, for lack of funds.
But the things have changed in 2006. New plans were made by the German company Alpine. It will take the stadium for 15 years under concession, and in return it will rebuild it at the cost of 150 million Euros. The works are starting at the end of 2006 and the completition is expected in 2008. The stadium will have 55.000 seats and a moving roof.

The Madejski Stadium is a football stadium in Reading, England. It was opened on 22 August 1998 and is the home of Premiership-bound Reading Football Club. The rugby union club, London Irish, also play their home games there as tenants. It also provides the finish for the Reading Half Marathon.
The stadium is an all-seater bowl stadium with a capacity of 24,225 and is located close to the M4 motorway. It was built on the site of a former household waste dump and the stadium is surrounded by methane vents. The stadium cost more than £50m to build and the pitch incorporates a system of synthetic fibres interwoven with natural grass, installed at a cost of more than £250,000.
Madejski Stadium has also held various music concerts, including the Summer XS festival series. Performers at the Madejski Stadium have included Blue, Busted, Craig David, Elton John, Girls Aloud, Lulu, McFly and Rachel Stevens.
The stadium is named after Reading F.C.’s chairman John Madejski but it is owned by the football club.

Rice-Eccles Stadium is the football stadium for the University of Utah Utes in on its campus in Salt Lake City, Utah. It was originally built in 1927 at a cost of $133,000 USD. The 2002 Winter Olympics Opening and Closing Ceremonies were held at the stadium, renamed temporarily as “Rice-Eccles Olympic Stadium”.
Ute Stadium opened on October 1, 1927 with a Utah victory over Colorado Mines, 40-6, and was dedicated on October 22 against Colorado. The seating capacity was 20,000. An additional 10,000 seats were added to the north end in 1947. Bob Rice gave $1 million USD to the university to renovate the stadium in 1972. Additional seating was added to the south end of the stadium, new locker rooms and a new press box were added, the playing surface was lowered, and the track was removed. This brought the capacity to 32,500.

Ruhrstadion is a multi-use stadium in Bochum, Germany. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium has a capacity of 32,645 people. It was built in 1919.

The state-of-the-art structure houses an Olympic sized swimming pool and diving area, a 200-metre athletics track, a gymnastics hall, a full- sized football field with artificial turf and a five- a- side football pitch, 11 tennis courts, 13 table tennis courts, eight fencing strips, two squash courts and wood- floored judo and karate mats.
