With entry of a new major share holder Rafas Holding in 2001 we received new possibilities for further development and mainly secured connection on motorsports authorities. These changes brought new impulse for improving the quality of services and development of the Automotodrom Brno not only as a centre of motorsports and sports at all but as well as social life in the region.

The company constantly widened the portfolio of its activities. In recet time it takes care of the technical situation of the race track, developis building of new complexes and rebuilding of current buildings but also succesfully works in the field of promotion and marketing. Great moment for Automotodrom Brno was September 2002 when one of the best Formula 1 drivers David Coulthard visited the circuit and tested wheather it is suitable for Formula 1 cars with his monopost of West Mc Laren Mercedes in seven testing rounds. The circuit proved to be suitable and with some necessary changes is by Mr. Coulthard judged as suitable for Formula 1 testing.
